Sunshine Charters has been chartering since 1983. Captain Jim is U.S. Coast Guard Licensed has an Ohio Guide License and is Fully Insured. Our boat, a 27' Sportcraft has all the required U.S. Coast Guard Safety Equipment and a Marine Toilet on Board.

| Charter a Lake Erie fishing trip with Sunshine Charters. Ohio's Western Basin of Lake Erie has the best walleye fishing in the world. According to the Ohio DNR millions of walleye are caught in our area each year. Besides walleye, this area is also a big producer of trophy smallmouth bass and very good eating yellow perch! The Western Basin of Lake Erie is truly a Great Sport Fishing Experience. When you charter a Lake Erie fishing trip with Sunshine Charters you will learn some good sport fishing techniques. We drift and cast for walleye and smallmouth, troll for walleye and/or anchor for perch allowing our anglers to learn the proper way to present bait for Lake Erie’s Sport Fish. |

Lake Erie Walleye Charter
Our Walleye fishing season begins in April and runs through October. We catch walleye up to 10lbs with 3-6 pounders common. |
Lake Erie Smallmouth Bass Charter
Our Smallmouth Bass season begins the Last Saturday in June and runs through October. We catch Smallmouth Bass up to 20" with an average of 17". |
Lake Erie Perch Charter
Our Perch Season starts in April and runs through October. Lake Erie's Perch limit is 30 per person which we achieve on a regular basis.
